hey gistees, what’s popping men?? it’s your boy James Jones oh, you know the rest… lol… This blog is to serve not only as a thank you letter to all of you out there who have followed Afrogist and “the gist” over the last year and stuck with us but also as an assurance that our continued improvement would even expand farther and we will continue to improve for all of our gistees pleasure (ya’ll like the new word i created? ‘gistees’? sure you do)
Over the past year Dunn-P (president, general overseer and co-founder of Afrogist)and his team including myself (James Jones), Harriet, Josh Uko, Emmanuel Uko, Claire Ogee, Seun “shay” Maduka, Leeda Agunwah, Teddy Ikpeme, Omatseye “OJ” Johnson and many other behind the scene members of the Dunn-P/Afrogist family have worked heartily towards providing ya’ll gistees the gift of being your own rock stars and giving you a medium to reach out to a host of audiences all over the world to showcase efforts that might have been otherwise undercelebrated.
Afrogist brought ya’ll the entertainment we as Africans look forward to seeing that we can’t find on regular TV or on any one specific web media… Afrogist brought the stars right to your desktops and TV screens via our wonderful webisodes and Primetime TV, Truspot radio and a host of other prominent African/African American/ European media…
As a proud member of the Afrogist family I want to unofficially thank ya’ll for sticking to us and helping us become the juggernaut we have become. And we plan on even breaking down more doors on our gistees’ behalf and expanding farther around the United states, Europe, Asia and Africa and Every nation harboring activities that might interest our ever perpetual, ever loyal fans…
Today the (launch of our website) marks a giant leap into the future of media… we want for you to stay tuned for the array of entertainment we will be introducing ya’ll to this year… we are open to suggestions and we will be ever ready to bend to please our viewers… it’s been a great year for me and the whole family as well and on their behalf i thank you all for the support…
And about the blogs? ya’ll already know ‘King of the gist’ just became the KING OF THE BLOG baby!!! And i will be bringing ya’ll all the good stuff just like i used to on Facebook… so stay tuned for all the goodness of Afrogist and remember to always hola at your boy when you see me around…
