NIGERIA ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS IN ITS FIFTH YEAR
ANNOUNCES ITS NOMINEES FOR THE 2010 NEA AWARDS
SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 18th 5:30PM AT THE
BMCC TRIBECA PERFORMING ART CENTER, NEW YORK
NEW YORK, NY– (July 8, 2010) – The Producers of the NEA Awards are pleased to announce the Nominees for the Fifth Annual NEA Awards scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at 5:30pm at the BMCC Tribeca Performing Art Center. This year’s nomination list is considered the most intriguing in the history of the show. The producers of the show also expanded this years’ category list to include non-traditional entertainment segments like Radio and TV personalities, Reality shows and Fashion. The producers of the show recognize the continued popularity and successes of these segments and want to make sure that these groups are recognized as part of the Nigeria Entertainment community.

BET announced the nominees for the upcoming BET AWARDS ‘10 to air on June 27, 2010. The show will be hosted by Queen Latifah.
Nominees include courtesy of BET: P-Square and M.I get The Best International Act and other international artist such as Sade,Kojo Antwi from Ghana and many more. Jay-Z gets 5 individual nominations across multiple categories: Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year (for which he holds two nominations) and Viewer’s Choice. P-square a popular music group claim to own the house were they reside. While the landlord Charles Nwaga also claims he owns the house. Charles Nwaga denies P-square purchased the house from him. He allege P-square damage his property,threat to harm him and give false statement that they purchase his house for N55,000,000. P-square said, he is an attention seeker. (more…)

Ok so it was about time that One of Naija’s finest all round performing artistes (and the best in my opinion) P-Square finally hit us up in yankee with some kinda love… I mean even though the dynamic duo of Peter and Paul (who are also identical twins for those of you who live under a rock) were only visiting Yankee and not on tour or anything they finally showed up here and were on the prawl nightclubbing , partying and damn these guys were hella shopping men!!! Every time they were seen on the town or about it, they had their hands felled with bags from all the best designer stores around… Oh and also were being accompanied by NaijaAtlanta’s fines women… (more…)
